1. Sales & Marketing Executive, Atmospheric Research

We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, and smart Sales & Marketing Executive/ Manager with proven experience and a passion for selling online instrumentation/ analytical systems to senior scientists/ researchers.

You will be responsible for selling to new prospects as well as farming back into the existing customer base to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction, and contribution to the overall sales team and business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team by promoting and/or selling products to prospective account base
  • Support in expanding customer base through cold calls/ emails/ meeting prospective customers PAN India
  • Utilise existing network and form a new network of clients for understanding market needs
  • Partner with other sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals
  • Successfully match customer requirements to proposed products/solutions
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations, videos, and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses along with end-to-end tender documentation process as per client requirements
  • Understand and effectively communicate client needs to the seniors such that they can communicate to principals and/or OEMs for future product enhancements
  • Understand the competitive landscape and develop comparative statements for all products
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence
  • Support Marketing team through designing of social media posts, flyers, newsletter content compilations etc.

Requirements and skills:

Must Have:

  • Qualifications: Sales & Marketing Executive for Atmospheric Research: M.Sc/ M.Tech/ PhD in Physics/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Environment/ Chemistry
  • Work Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven work experience as a Sales Executive/ Engineer/ Manager for selling online instrumentation/ analytical systems
  • Communication skills: Medium Proficiency in written and verbal English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel around 50% of the month across India

Good to Have:

  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with scientific/industrial fraternity
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in selling/servicing analytical/ online instrumentation systems
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills
