Palas AQ Guard Smart 1000/2000 Advanced Dust Monitor

The Palas AQ Guard Smart is a latest generation, high accuracy, high resolution MCERTS CERTIFIED dust monitoring station. It is a compact, robust, feature packed real-time multi-function high resolution spectrometer suitable for a wide range of outdoor air quality measurements. It features a wide 175nm – 20um particle size range, 64 high-resolution particle size channels, a massive 10 GB of data storage, and many other features. A newly developed mass conversion algorithm calculates PM values based on single-particle optical light scattering, taking signal duration and shape into account.

The sensor system and advanced algorithms were developed based on the same technology as used in the EN 16450 certified Palas Fidas 200. The heated aerosol inlet ensures that results are not affected by relative humidity or by the presence of fog droplets. Under any weather conditions, the AQ Guard Smart achieves precision measurements that are comparable to type compliance grade dust monitoring instruments.




AQ Guard (Indoor)

Palas AQ Guard Advanced Portable Aerosol Monitor

The Palas AQ Guard is currently the most advanced portable aerosol monitor of its type in the world for real-time indoor / outdoor particle and air quality measurements. This unit is a state-of-the-art MCERTS certified, research grade, high resolution spectrometer capable of providing highly accurate measurements. The Palas AQ Guard features a wide 175nm to 20um particle size range, 64 high-resolution particle size channels, a massive 10 GB of data storage, and many other features WAY beyond the capabilities of competitive instruments on the market.

A newly developed mass conversion algorithm calculates PM values based on single-particle optical light scattering, taking signal duration and shape into account. The sensor system and advanced algorithms were developed based on the same technology as used in the EN 16450 certified Palas Fidas 200 series. An outdoor-rated ambient version of this model is also available (with heated aerosol inlet) which achieves precision comparable to type approved compliance grade instruments.



FIDAS FROG

Palas Fidas Frog Portable High Resolution Dust Monitor

The fine dust measurement device Fidas® Frog allows for a fast, reliable, and quality-assured determination of fine dust, e.g., monitoring within the scope of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management at workplaces (exposure assessment) or in the range of indoor air quality measurements (e.g., for offices, public buildings such as schools, passenger compartments...).

It simultaneously measures the environmentally relevant mass fractions PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, and TSP, as well as the particle number and the particle size distribution within the particle size range of 0.18 – 93 µm. By providing fine dust values with high time resolution, the operator receives comprehensive information for evaluation and assessment of the fine dust pollution for the investigated application.

The very compact and light design as a portable hand-held monitor with either battery or mains power operation and the operation time of up to 8 hours per battery charge allow for a flexible application of the Fidas® Frog at any measurement sites.
